I think his line was definitely affected by his left ankle, as that is what Right arm fast bowlers use for leverage. Hopefully with this surgery his line and length will improve.

:hatsoff::hatsoff: to his decision. I remember, he gave his all in test matches in Australia, just keep coming back ball after ball. A perfect example for any young fast bowler who dreams to play for their country, you got to give it all. What is the point of 'bowling within yourself' when you r young? Results will start coming with time, but you need to give it all and keep showing your hunger to play for your country. Soon, he will surelly start getting rewards as well.

He's just 23 & already played 45 tests.I reckon if he will play 9-10 years of test cricket as he's already a specialist test bowler & that means he'll not play much of ODIs & will get lots of rest.He's a candidate of 100-120 test caps if he's not dropped for a long time.He has to improve his bowling for that & that means he has to take wkts.Unlucky or bowling fast these excuses will not help him to survive any more.Having pace is a great thing but u need to know how to use that.Really hope that he learns the art of setting up a batsman & be more consistent with his line & length.He has time on his side & if he comes of age then he'll play 100-120 tests & will take more than 400 wkts for India.

that was a peach of a delivery ... one of the best u will every see.. swing in air and off the pitch is a rare/deadly combo on any sort of pitch against any Batsman. Punter had no idea what hit him... during those days IS had punter's number.

:hatsoff: His timing of the ankle surgery will surely raise his franchise's eyebrow but when some seniors in the team are prioritizing IPL his dedication to be successful in the national team is such refreshing.He is hardest worker among all our bowlers & he always gives his all.It's just the lack of maturity which reflects in his failures sometimes.But there is also glimpses of what he can be & that is the leader of the Indian bowling attack after Zak.He has pace,bounce....all ingredients to excite us. He'll be out of action for 6 months.Hope he comeback stronger,faster & most importantly a bit more sense up there.
