Bit harsh on Kohli! First of all, it is not easy position to bat at +6 for a top order player like Kohli. At the most he should bat at #4. He is definitely test material and he should be given a long haul in the team, best bet would be play him at the top.

Virus Kohli is the Yuvraj Singh of this series. His aggregate of 43 runs in 4 innings is only better than that of Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav. His average of 10.75 is even worse, its just marginally better than Ishant Sharma's. I consider Ishant a better batsman as he has shown he can survive much longer. Virus Kohli is the worst batsman in the entire XI. We cannot afford to play this turd any longer. Let's have someone else to fail at #6. This Ashwin dude can teach a thing or two about batting to our #6 batsmen. Better he could be our #6

I think between Rohit and Kohli, Kohli has better temperament (I know! inspite of that finger showing and lack of runs in this series, I think he is mature for his age). I feel rohit is more flamboyant and in this team right now we need someone with proper temperament. Rohit is only now marrying his talent with staying power in ODIs. Kohlis has been doing this for a while. I would love to be proven wrong on Rohit if he gets his chance and best of luck to both.

Kohli fails even on easy paced tracks. He has proved several times he is found wanting at Test level. Rohit may or may not succeed. But he looks a better prospect than Kohli for tests.

Even if I wish Kohli to get more chances to play, the need of the hour is to make him realise the importance of earning his place in the team and to BEHAVE. It'll do not harm to him if he's asked to sit out and mull over his performance and behaviour.
