Aus 2008 2-1 (with the dubious Sydney test) Aus 2003-04 1-1(this is the great Steve Waugh side) Almost won the series if it wasnt for Steve Waugh's knock in the final innings. Won the previous two West Indies tours and also in New Zealand. Won the last tour of Pakistan and drew in Sri Lanka. Of course, Eng 2007 1-0 Cricket didn't start in 2007.

Well apart from the couple that were rained out. You didn't beat us in the world cup, we drew with your legendary team and then we lost to Bangladesh and Ireland. Which just shows how irrelevant the world cup is.

You won't be number 1 soon in tests. Will struggle in subcontinent and SA will beat you. At least we lasted as number 1 for almost 2 years :winky:

But when Indians turn up in droves to that trashy tamasha league despite the Indian Test side becoming a minnow away from home (apologies to minnows, even they would do better than four innings defeats in five Tests) then what can one say, really?

Why not invite WI, NZ, Bangars and Zimboks for a 5 test series each to India, and prepare rank bad turners that wrap up a test in 3 days with Bhajji taking 20 wickets every test?

When England suffered the whitewash in Aus in 2006 they set up a root and branch review of the entire English cricketing structure. They are now no.1. When Aussies were humiliated by England last year they did the same and have started to get better (yes we made them look better then they are but Warner, Pattinson, Cummins are all great finds and there is progress being made). When India suffers not one but TWO humiliating whitewashes, this scumbag Srinivisan's response is to say that everything is ok because we bully teams on home soil? What a ****ing moron.

We already know India can beat anyone at home, we just beat them 2-0 last year, and what's he on about losing 5-0 to England in England and beating them 5-0 in India? We only lost 3-0 to England in the ODI's and whooped them 5-0 when they came to India, we haven't faced them in tests yet. Being able to beat a particular team at home is not an excuse for losing (let alone being raped) in their backyard. If this is the mindset of our board officials and players it's safe to assume we will NEVER be no.1 ever again in any form of the game. This moron should be fired just for saying this.
