Number Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Cricket at any serious level is itself a full time Job - how can sree focus on DANCE. I am comp engineer and now a Senior IT professional at 39. I used to bowl fast when I was 33 to 35 ,before that I played using a tennis , rubber or cork ball. Got hold of season ball at 33 then at 36 realised that I am done with fast bowling so from a no 6. Or no 7 batsman- I started opening the team"s batting as I realised I was the best batsman. Now I am 39 and I bat at no 3 or no 4 or even at no 5 and I nearly murder all spinners and I am so confident against spinners that I score 3 to even 4 sixers in each over but there are fast bowlers who get me out regularly. I have got out to rising balls at cross maidan last ground or national ground. At present ther r many indian batters who r murderers for spiNners- Where as can't play average fast bowlers. :WTF: :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

Yup, I hit 3-4 6s an over as well on Ashes Cricket 2009 on my PS3 :--D
vishalvirsingh Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Bcos of small grounds and batters getting good practice against quality spinners on nets- we have so many good batters against Spinners. Even my Company has good spinners to whom I hit sixes purely at my will- when I go to play in the match , I find opposite team spinners of similiar quality only. Where all Good Teams which I have played always have some Pacer who gets me Out or I run myself Out...then so many upcoming Pacers also have a few balls which they THROW kinda similiar to Malinga- and I miss reading them and get bowled some times......fast bowlers in India r bcoming THROWERS but they Suceed. Dhobi needs to train and show confidence in the fast bowlers else I feel Indian team is doomed as when spinning n turning tracks r not there - these spinners bcomes lolly ppop straight slow bowlers outside and batters hace to identify the line n pitching and give a wild swing or go on back foot n square cut....... Dhobi spinners is not the KEY to Success.
