The super fast green tops was ridiculous excuse making their where similar pitches to the ones our batsman used to not have any problems scoring on. In fact the most difficult pitch we played on was the one in south africa that we actually managed to win. Even when we were number one our batting super stars had serious issues with batting collapses and no one wanted to talk about it. Only nasser hussein talked about it once about how fragile our batting looked at times.

Isn't Monga in denial himself?? Two days ago he wrote about why Sachin should be allowed to prove himself. What was that about? Back to denial thing. It is beyond denial. It is a weird arrogant brashness that was somehow associated with India Shining! This is easily worst phase in Indian cricket and yet the yuppy youngsters, both fans and cricketers, don't seem to realize that. I have witnessed many series when India were beaten black and blue but I never heard anyone like Sunny, Kapil, Jimmy Amarnath etc suggesting they would return the favor at home. It is only modern day greats who are arrogant to suggest this today.

I enjoy supporting my team while watching Cricket...we are not as good as England and its pretty clear...no doubt abt it...but whats the point in watching if you dont hope for a comeback...i expect a Sehwag blitz or one of Pujara or Kohli standing up like a man... will enjoy Cricket that way than to continuously crib watching the game and then come here and vent out frustration... Ppl who cant take it should might as well stop watching... it will help Indian cricket in a way...

So what do you think that struggling to draw a test match on home ground,on a flat pitch is an accomplishment ? isn't being bowled out of 316(intact got lucky to get there) on a flat wicket in your home conditions in the first innings humiliating enough?
