As much as I applauded Chawla in the last match, something tells me we're all going to be regretting his selection some time soon. He's just the kind of bowler you never really feel confident about. Hope he proves me wrong. I still think Dhoni is underestimating the role of part-timers on these sri lankan pitches. The whole point of touring SL (and crushing their team) was to get a feel of the conditions and who was doing well. Oh yeah, one more suggestion for MSD: How about dropping both of them and picking Tiwary?

Totally agree. Chawla has no pedigree and record whatsoever and relying on him to perform in 3 crunch games is just asking to be beaten. The performance in the Eng game should be regarded as the exception rather than the rule.

T20 format is the best because it highlights every possible cricket skilll IMO T20 format is where every skill is exposed. fielding: discarded in tests is a vital element in T20. Saving 1 run can win u a match. Bowling: bowlers have to use their brain. Natural outswingers or inswingers can go for runs if the bowlers don't vary their pace, length etc. Batting: have to out think the bowlers. new shots invented: scoops, unorthodox sweep shots etc. plays: the teams can devise plays over by over instead of sticking to a predetermined plan A or B. Overall: I think T20 will force teams to enroll athletes just like in the NBA (you have to jump this high to be a dunker etc...). Teams can now have standards for fielders in the deep. For instance in todays match; andre russell's saved 6 was phenominal; he had so much hangtime lol, pollards catch in the deep was amazing, sammy's saved 4 for extraordinary. T20 brings out the best of every skill in cricket you can see the SC mindset changing: Tanvir dropping a dolly was criticized on every media channel in pakistan. Placing a lot of attention on fielding in the SC is a new phenomenon
