express bowling Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 rkt was mentioning Mohit Sharma. Duncan was impressed with him None of us have actually seen him bowl. Hope to see him bowl for CSK in the near future.
kubrickian Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Nice to see IPL teams giving chances to new bowlers. Its always exciting to see new talent. :nice:
FischerTal Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 None of us have actually seen him bowl. Hope to see him bowl for CSK in the near future. ya i think CSK will give him chance, like they did with Rajpoot
Straight Drive Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I watched some of his overs. Bowled between 140 - 145 usually apart from the odd one.He definitely rushed Gauti on some shots. Speed is there but we know what happened to Shaun Tait.He even struggles to be in the T20 teams.Even some BPL team left him out of the squad last month.Only time will tell how good a bowler is he.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 His bowling is more like West Indian fast bowlers.Open chested action and hit the deck.
JaFanatic Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 not so fast. he can either go Umi way or Aaron way. his FC record is horrible' date=' although one feels for him with the Indian pattas. Best thing is to check him out in A tour. Although I think Pandey/Kaul are going to get nod ahead of him[/quote'] yes they should and they deserve it :agree:
express bowling Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 yes they should and they deserve it :agree: Kaul should get a chance but I am not sure of Pandey. He looked pretty innocuous in the last match which he played. It could be due to tiredness after a long season. He has to be watched a bit more. Only those bowlers DESERVE a chance who look like they have the ability to trouble international batsmen whether by pace or skill or both.

express bowling Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 pandey for tests and kaul for odis would be a nice choice It seems that Pandey is a pacer of decent skill but nothing exceptional. Whether he has the pace adequate to his skill level is the question ?
vishalvirsingh Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Rahul shukla looks likes awana"s brother....
MCcricket Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 It seems that Pandey is a pacer of decent skill but nothing exceptional. Whether he has the pace adequate to his skill level is the question ? I have seen him bowl a lot, Pandey is exceptional, the kind of bowler who can be a batters nightmare, fast medium and will bowl 133 to 142 when he comes to international arena, tall, gets bounce, bowls long spells, good control and very good movement, he might not look like a devastating fast bowler but nor did Glen McGrath , Philander. Kaul haven't seen much off, looks to have decent pace and very very good exponent of seam and swing, only if selectors wake up and more so coach and Dhoni from their deep slumber.:whack:
ShebbySB Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I said that a long time ago that he's quick & can compete with Aaron & Yadav for pace.
ShebbySB Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 please go. some of you guys are seriously delusional. every third post of some of the guys here is same old regurgitated crap u posted three post before, like " blah blah blah blah fast bowler blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah abu nachim, pawan suyal rahul shukla blah blah blah blah" the point is u haven't even seen half of these guys clocked and recorded, and then u hype these guys. heck even paki's dont do this sort of delusional crap. Hiii buddy wanna have some humble pie?I can get it for u:giggle:
rkt.india Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 None of us have actually seen him bowl. Hope to see him bowl for CSK in the near future. This is what I read about Mohit though only believe when you see it. He is in pace range of Shami, not Yadav, Aaron or Shukla. The bowling complement included blustery pace from Mohit Sharma and some steady seam-up from Vijay Shankar. http://www.thehindu.com/sport/cricket/super-kings-get-down-to-business/article4562596.ece

Tall fast medium pacers who can move the ball have been big successes. In the match that I saw, I perhaps did not get an actual picture of him, perhaps because he was tired after a long season.
express bowling Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 He doesn't look 6'0 That is because of his wide built.
