The fact that he uses the word "ugly" in movies pretty much explains what his opinion about movies. According to him Om Puri must be another hack as he is not handsome looking.

He is a good actor and should stick to that and let real directors do his movies.

The high courts in India must stop entertaining these petitions to hold the release of movies just because a special interest group 'thinks' there's some content offensive to the group they represent. More often than not, these petitions are filed by obscure, fringe groups who hope and pray for their 5 minutes of fame. And where will this end? If there's a scene in a movie where the main protagonist talks down astrology, can the astrologers association ask for a release of that film, alleging that it harms their interest? Besides, Kamal's the last guy in this world who can be accused of taking pot-shots at any one religion. If anything, when it comes to religion/caste, he's an equal opportunity skeptic.
