He is a cricketer and seems to be a decent guy but it is a bit of a stretch to start naming him the next coming of Jesus. when did the standards for greatnesss fall so low as to not being an obnoxious jerk. If Amla is a gentleman so is Kallis or smith or Devlilliers and 90% of other cricketers out there.

Nope it's Chanderpau's concern but as soon as Paki see anyone with a beard they start jumping like baboons in heat. "Oh does he fast' date= did he bend over for sajda, did he pray 5 times in the dressing room" etc. It was a genuine question as I really want to understand the thought process of Pakis. Asking about anyone's practices when one tries to see him as a role model religiously isn't that wrong. You don't bother about Chanderpaul because you never felt him as a potential role model for practicing religion. I won't mind if say 1 people get inspired by Hashim Amla just not a religious role model but also as human being. Worst part is this isn't limited to asking questions. It goes wrong when people start passing their judgement like Zaheer is fake ______ and crap like that. Just like you said he won't become any lesser man if didn't fast.
