Its not just the limited overs Zaheer has been below par for some time now. In the away series to Aus and even the NZ test series he was pedestrian. Its a general dip in form.

I think this is one area we have to consider. Unlike tests or even ODIs where you can bowl a few overs to get into rythm you have to hit the straps straight away. Irfan's selection is understandable as he was in good rythm. But zaheer's selection is horrible.

Sandeep sharma would have been a far better choice than Zak. Conditions definitely offered a bit of swing. Zak is a swing bowler. He is not swinging one bit.
