Those 3 are hardly passionate cricketers. Passionate cricketers imply hating to lose any matches. However, those players realize that losing matches is part of the game and takes it accordingly. Passionate players are like Ronaldo.

Like him or hate him. But Ronaldo is really one of the most driven and hard working players ever. And he brings that passion everytime on the field. Back to the other issue, those 3 players are mature than passionate. There's a clear difference in both.

Tendu was crying a lot after chennai test defeat. Dravid .. i have seen tremendous amount of passion when he played for Karnataka. He was dead serious. Fisting his pump, energizing from the balcony what not. I think he is restraining himself when he plays for India. Kumble is more than passionate.. a highly competitive guy who likes both war and battles.

while I do agree that SRT, Ganguly, Dravid, Kumble etc were as passionate as any but rubbishing Kohli's emotions at that time as Nautanki is wrong. The way he has worked on his game and had great rise in such a short span itself is enough that he is passionate about his game and his team.

And that was not meant only for Kohli. I have been reading this for ages now, that one who displays emotions openly is passionate whilst others don't seem to care. Moreover, it's still early days for Kohli but the other guys you named have played for a decade and a half. It's easy to maintain the tempo for 2-3 years, but to do that for such long periods is the real deal.

I take it you watched the Ranji final which Mumbai lost by 2 runs . He was unconsolable on the ground.He was crying his heart out after he brought his side to within an inch of Ranji win. What a competitive tournament that used to be.
