Cricketics Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 90 runs in last 9 overs after lunch. What counter attack from Warner and Clarke.
Cricketics Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 Who cares.. 100 runs already in less than 10 overs. wow.
Trichromatic Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Flat or whatever, these sights are rare even on flattest pitches.
Robelinda Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 SA attack is so overrated. By miles. Smith has no control at all, and is THE worst captain a spinner could have.
Robelinda Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 If the bowlers are bowling full tosses and half volleys and silly bouncers, its not the pitch which as fault.
suraj Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 wow- 200 in only 35 overs after 100 in 25 !!!!
Cricketics Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 If the bowlers are bowling full tosses and half volleys and silly bouncers' date=' its not the pitch which as fault.[/quote'] You can't have 3 slips. One slip is enough. If you are trying to bowl bounce, put one deep
putrevus Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 they are bowling dollies and I don't think Warner and Clarke would have ever made any easier runs than this.
vvvslaxman Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Flat or whatever' date=' these sights are rare even on flattest pitches.[/quote'] You missed sehwag's onslaught against Steyn, Ntini at Chennai.
vvvslaxman Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Adelaide pitch batsmen friendly. it is the second innings where teams go wrong.
Trichromatic Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 You missed sehwag's onslaught against Steyn' date=' Ntini at Chennai.[/quote'] No I didn't. That inning was first to come to my mind when I was watching Warner and Clarke.
BeautifulGame Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Steyn seems completely off color and Kallis broke down after bowling beautifully .Also they don't have a containing bowler with Philander out injured and Tahir being plain awful.Smith hasn't helped himself some overly attacking field placings too But yep great counter attacking batting on a flat typical Adelaide wicket by both Clarke and Warner IMO Clarke has a legitimate case to being the best test batsman in world even ahead of Amla
putrevus Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 You missed sehwag's onslaught against Steyn' date=' Ntini at Chennai.[/quote'] This was more dollies gifted by Tahir and faf and then Morkel under pressure always leaks runs. That Sehwag innings was great he was hitting good balls, here any tail ender would score from that crap they were dishing out.
vvvslaxman Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Can SA match Australia's stroke play? or they will grind and grind some more?
rkt.india Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 You missed sehwag's onslaught against Steyn' date=' Ntini at Chennai.[/quote'] Sehwag has many more onslaughts like this. Who can forget his 65 ball 85 against England on a 4th day pitch in Chennai.
Cricketics Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 Steyn seems to bowl couple of great overs with energy. Good bounce, better then what Morkel keep dishing out. But eventually he also gets carried away. Not the same what he was bowlign couple of years back. Also not much support from other bowlers either.
Lord Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 wats the highest score in a day.in danger methinks
Trichromatic Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 wats the highest score in a day.in danger methinks Not sure about highest score, but I remember SA scoring 445 on day 1 against Pakistan (Waqar and co :hehe:) 10 years ago.
Lord Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Not sure about highest score' date=' but I remember SA scoring 445 on day 1 against Pakistan (Waqar and co :hehe:) 10 years ago.[/quote'] of ok.I was thinking 425-430.than its safe imo
