Sandeep99 Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 Man, this has been one epic innings really! He is coming of age, this guy really is.. But why blame the thread? It has done him a world of good. :finger:
Sandeep99 Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 I think he has already outshone the likes of Ganguly in South African conditions.. Laxman, Dravid and Sachin up next!
Raghav_12 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 This is a fantastic innings.. quite a few people had doubts about his capabilities outside SC. This innings will dispel many of these.
Yoda-esque Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I think he has already outshone the likes of Ganguly in South African conditions.. Laxman, Dravid and Sachin up next! Blasphemy!
express bowling Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Test century in Australia Now , test century in South Africa. Such authoritative innings in difficult condition and situation. I like the direction Kohli is taking.
CSK Fan Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Another shandar thappad from Kohli to this club +1
express bowling Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 119 and 96 in the Wanderers. Well done Kohli .
Sandeep99 Posted December 22, 2013 Author Posted December 22, 2013 96? Where is the hundred Kohli? :hysterical::finger:
Number Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 I am not praising him but seriously the worst batsman in the team is hogging the no. 4 place which is where Kohli should play. Way to ruin career of a promising player. Dhoni should have balls to drop Sachin down the order. Half the time he is batting with tail or Dhoni ( who hasn't done much bar 1 innings). Better batsman should bat up. Do you think he would have been same batsman in ODIs if had batted at no. 5 or 6 ? First that's totally irrelevant. I am talking about the current team. If you watched them we had 6 proper batsman in those times. Yes, our current batsman at no. 4 is scoring so big for last 2 years so that Kohli has to learn to score big 150s to bat ahead of him. All I am saying is he can easily bat ahead Sachin in the current team, on the current form. Don't know what is too hard in that to not understand. I always thought he should bat at 4 after Australia away tour.
vvvslaxman Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 His natural game is being aggressive. He should try to hone it rather try to become a Rahul Dravid. He is so indecisive when the ball is leaving him outside the off stump. Not Murali vijaysque level. But he is not quiet assured. When the ball is on the pads or middle stumps he can flick them all day. Even short balls he negotiates well. Anyone who plays ondrive and cover drive like him gotta be good. I definitely back him. My First post in AVKC
King Tendulkar Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Well I won the arguments in this thread. A simple sorry will suffice
vvvslaxman Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 1) Establishing the fact and getting others to accept that Kohli is just one of the many talented individuals in Indian cricket right now and not very special over and above them as some blind fans claim. Pujara and Rohit are much more talented First manifesto :hysterical:
CommonMan Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 ICF is really funny place.. It has Hate clubs for Kholi and Fan clubs for Nohit :giggle:
express bowling Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 This thread deserves to be removed to the joke section. Among the threads in ICF with more than 50 posts, this is the worst.
