He makes a good gangster. John is a pretty good actor, watch force though he was a police officer. He has rarely been criticized for his acting by critics.

Only saving grace is for the first time I am seeing Dawood's elder brother Shabbir being portrayed. Shabbir Ibrahim was the other half of Dawood-Shabbir gang that finally became D company, till the latter was killed by Manya Surve-Pathan gang. Lot of fiction here, wonder why Hussein Zaidi signed off on this

Manya Surve was strongly built. You have to realize that the gangsters in late 70s and 80s often fought with gupti/rampuri and the pehelwans were very much in demand. That is supposedly one of the things that had irked Dawood when Manya had commeted how puny Dawood used to carry hijron ki fauz (Khaled Pehelwan and co) around him for protection. Not picking Vivek Oberoi is not incorrect actually. Pseudo Secular Police only encounter Hindu dons. Which non-Hindu dons have been left alone by P-Sec police? :hmmm:
