SA is the only country in the world where, after every loss, about 20% of the comments are people claiming match-fixing. The sheer arrogance of it, assuming that we are the master race and that nobody else could possibly beat us fairly, it must be because our players were paid to lose. And then we compound it by accusing England and Australia of arrogance. Mind-boggling. There is no other word for it. Really now? :haha:

Because they know damn well that this format will be scrapped soon after wc 2015 so why waste too much time, money and resources. Hence, you are seeing B/C rate ODI units from the top 3 tests nations. The SC teams are going to be shown their real aukat once ODIs are scrapped.

ODIs are still pulling in good crowds in India (which accounts for 85 % revenue for ICC) and World Cup is very popular and good value for advertisers. I dont think ODIs are going anywhere anytime soon.

Australia are still searching for a good XI in their LOIs, South Africa had a good side not "C" side. Wonder what you were watching? Except Amla and Kallis, they had all their key players. I think Amla played the 1st ODI.

Tridibans_16 Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 What the heck? ODIs are going nowhere. 40 years of WC history cannot be done away with in a whisker. I agree these meaningless bilateral series have to be scrapped. ODIs should stay for WC every 4 years and 3-4 team tournaments like the Aus tri-series , etc.
