Abu and Pankaj two bowlers being ignored for god knows reasons both deserve a chan e in Odi and test respectively better talent and potential then the mediocre players selectors have been wasting their time I've 3 years or so

This guy abu always bowled with lasith Malinga and generated similiar speed as malinga always got breakthrough"s used to consistently bowl 3 to 4 balls in 140"s was given credit by bhajji as one reason for mumbai team playing well....he was preferred even to dhawal kulkarni and Munaf patel......I am surprised when a medium fast bowler can pip dhawal and munaf who have been in india eleven .......at least performance is not the reason why he is not playing for india..... He is much faster than Ishwar , even shaMmi and Dinda.....may have fitness issue"s as he plays less but he plays he gets wickets........ Line n length can be coached but not PACE....pls understand selectors bring him in.....

Yes recently aby got a bag ful of wickets........ At his pace anybody will get wickets he has to just bowl straight full length balls and he will disturb timber too many a times......when a guy balls at 140.....it becomes a guess work for the batsman..... I have faced a bowler who said he used to bowl at 125K......his bouncers were a Terror......I cud hardly snick them as I saw them with difficulty.......140 + is Too Tuf to handle .....consistent 140+ is a sure success secret as they can bowl fast in Air too, if pitch responds than these bowlers can rip thru the side........

:hysterical: Do you think selectors choose based on suitability of a player to a particular format? For the last few years, its been IPL which is the magic ladder to climb ahead in the selectorial queue & then performing in 1 or 2 key matches when the selectors are watching you

I believe selectors can even get to see video recordings of many Ranji matches- Video recording gives good information and can also help........ One can see the comfort or discomfort the batsman faces from a bowler......a medium fast bowler who can create discomforting situations shud be followed.....

Abu Nechim always got step motherly treatment from BCCI because of his ICL background. Besides playing for a team like Assam is not helping his cause. I have heard Sachin was so impressed by him, that he was given an option to move to the Mumbai team for Ranji. He made a mistake by not taking up the offer.

No. He is not a 140 bowler neither the ones you named are. There are only two 140 bowlers in India, Yadav and Aaron both injured. Other than them, there is no stand out bowler in India in terms of pace. If you dont have pace, you need to have skills like BK, PK have and he lacks them too.

for me kaul is good prospect shami is good,bhuvan can be good bowler in away conditions,pandey is different kind of bowler then these too even he was very impressive off topic..but did nay of u guys watch shami bowl live in last match ? i was not able too how was he with new ball ? rkt in comment said he swung the ball.. how was he compared to others?

Havent seen Kaul yet . Yeah I like BK a lot . I think he will cement his place as the third seamer . The problem is the other 2 pacers spot . I would pick Shami for sure & hope Yadav is fit soon . Watched him bowl , thot he was good in patches ...but you can see he can trouble good players . Has a lot of good going for him .

cool..yes he does has lot going for him ,lets hope he knows how to get wickets.:two_thumbs_up: and about kaul take my word on it he is most impressive pacer for me this season swung new ball with pace (not phaaast bowler pace but decent enough hitting 140k occasionally ) and then reversed old ball,has good yorker and quick bouncer.. bowled long spells even on pattas and pick wickets ..only thing against him is this was his first good season ,actually come back and like in past we have seen bowlers really who looked impressive lose there way lets hope he is not like that..
