vishalvirsingh Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Abu is faster than Shammi and ishant.....why isn't he being considered...
JaFanatic Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 yes he is faster than the 2 but his performance in the last 2 seasons were disappointing
panther Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Shami ahmed should play ahead of ishant or sreesanth ahead of ishant if he is back.
tweaker Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 He is not the best, never heard about his perfomance
ShebbySB Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Abu Has problem with his control though he can crank it upto 145-146ks.When he gets it right he can be real handful with his natural outswing which he generates with his round-arm action.
tweaker Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 If he has pace,,he can be sent to NCA,and nd he can be nurtured so that he can be considered for national team
ShebbySB Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Though the thing is I'm not sure if he's faster than Ishant.Ishant is a bit down on pace after he came back from the ankle surgery. He's bowling in the mid 130s. But before that he was bowling 140+,even 145ks in some spells. In Australia he bowled 148-152ks range in 2nd innings of the 1st test last season.Ishant can be as quick as Aaron or Umesh when he's in rhythm.
Sean Bradley Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 From the little i have seen him in IPL he looks like an unfinished article, best we have is Umesh, closely followed by Shami & Aaron.

ShebbySB Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 yes currently he is quicker than ishant Yes that's right.
Sooda Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 He had a great T20 Champions League with MI in 2011.. could have played limited overs cricket at least for us- more realistic option than say Mithun in that format. Not sure about tests though.
rkt.india Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 He had taken 13 wickets in just concluded Vijay Hazare trophy. He should get a chance in ODIs.
The Dark Horse Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 He is fast but erratic, can be tried in LOIs but not sure about tests
Crookbond Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Abu is faster than Shammi and ishant.....why isn't he being considered... The Great Khali is stronger than Shami and Ishant, I think he should be considered as well.
Lord Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 The Great Khali is stronger than Shami and Ishant' date=' I think he should be considered as well.[/quote'] :cantstop:
Texan Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Ishant should not even be used for pace comparisons any longer. He barely bowls 130 - 135 kph. That's just a little quicker than B Kumar, but without any variations or swing or seam.
I6MTW Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Fastest Indian Bowler ever is Umesh Yadav before injury. After injury I don't know.
