Not wanting any oldies in team now, we must go with youth for 1 year and develop a team to be No 1 again 1 Dhawan 2 Vijay 3 Pujara 4 Rahane 5 Kohli 6 Rohit 7 Saha 8 Ashwin 9 B Kumar 10 Ishant 11 Yadav Reserve bats Rayudu Spinner Oijha Seamers Shami-may pick him over Ishant I would go with this except for drop Ishant and play Shami and Pankaj Singh the other pacer in the squad maybe.. being more realistic Dhoni will and should play of course, the problem with the above team is that no one can captain- not Kohli surely too young still...if anything it should be Pujara but even he can do without that pressure The A team tour of SA is crucial for giving younger guys experience and much more important that players go there rather than player whatever ODIs India are playing around then- I mean the likes of Dhawan, Vijay, Rahane Rohit and Tiwary...esp important that a good pool of young pacers tours SA with the A team and the better ones of that tour then tour with the seniors. As some good bowlers may get their fitness back and show something by time tour starts, as well as some others due a call up. Pankaj, Aaron, Sree, ZK, Kaul, Shami- All potentially should be in team

And Ishant with Aaron or Irfan or Pankaj/Shami. Plus we require a fast bowling all-rounder.
