:headshake: Raina is far too ahead when it comes to all round fielding. None of the others stand in slips.

Slip catching of the level of Dravid and Laxman is ten times more valuable than diving and saving a few runs in tests and none of the younger generation barring Pujara seem to be any good at it.

tbf dravid has dropped his fair share of catches .. :p i think this slip problem is very common as few players retire at same time im sure team has already identified players who are good at slips and we will see improvement .. problem is most of batsmen in our team are very good fielders so probably dont get that much chance to field in slips .. for example even though abdv is much better fielder that smith but smith is much safer slip fielder imo ..

You only become good when you do it. If they do it, they will get better too. Look at Raina's catches in slip this CT.

I think he is right. Slip catching is of very high value in test cricket and the new generation of Indians should concentrate on it. Dravid and Laxman were real good in the slip cordon.

I am sure pujara and co will become stellar slippers. They will work hard and find some good ones
