Vanarp22 Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Why has Ishant failed? Post your thoughts and vote on the poll.
bharat297 Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Can we add another option? That he hasn't worked on enough attacking deliveries and he needs to spend a season in county cricket?
Laaloo Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 What does this even mean: His Test career is fine -- his average just makes him look bad?
SLICKR392 Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 What does this even mean: His Test career is fine -- his average just makes him look bad? :giggle:
Number Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Race between Ishant's avg and Vanar's avg no. of threads.
NameGoesHere Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 (d) Because he's always tired from his main job of being an international gigolo to give much time to what is only a secondary profession.
CG Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Because he never gets dropped even if he has string of bad performances.
msb1991 Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 He's never done consistency well (bar one series) away from India and within India, conditions will often conspire against him. Not Test standard, should have been dropped a while ago.
Vanarp22 Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 What does this even mean: His Test career is fine -- his average just makes him look bad? It means that although he has a bad average, he is in reality a capable bowler.
Trichromatic Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 2 matches - 3 wickets 3 matches - 7 wickets 1 match - 3 wickets 3 matches - 7 wickets 4 matches - 11 wickets. 3 matches - 5 wickets 4 matches - 5 wickets. 2 matches - 4 wickets 4 matches - 6 wickets. and still he doesn't get dropped. Luckiest bowler in the world, worst to play 50 tests and worst tukka bowler ever. Anyone can fluke more wickets that him.
Trichromatic Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 He has been part of the team in all last 15 tests India has played. :omg: In those 15 tests, Indian bowlers have picked 211 wickets. Sharma has contributed grand 22 wickets of those.
Texan Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 You need to add an option there. He has not improved one bit after making his debut. In fact, he has regressed!
puneet28 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 He has age with him. Only 24. Selectors should think properly. He should play one full season of county and one Ranji season. The one which got Pattinson out landed on seam but his wrist position is awful. Atleast he should go back to his coach once
carnish Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 He ain't crap .. immense potential. Not one good person to guide him.
