Hafeez Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 They can obviously ' date=' but at this stage they have to be least favs from the group[/quote'] SA to leave Fav from our group if Steyn not played on 10th Thought
gaurav92 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Pakistan team Comeback kare bina gayi Corrected :nice:
yoda Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Anything can happen. India can lose their remaining games, Pak can win their remaining games. Pak batsmen are known to make merry of Indian bowlers and Indian batsmen barring Sehwag and SRT both whom aren't there, traditionally play very tight against Pak bowlers. However we do have some new faces and hope they show no mercy.
Laaloo Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 no Pakis will get their customary dhulai from the superior padosis
JaFanatic Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 no Pakis will get their customary dhulai from the superior padosis B->
Hur Rizvi Posted June 8, 2013 Author Posted June 8, 2013 no Pakis will get their customary dhulai from the superior padosis Most probably, Edgbaston is a flat pitch and if Pakistan lose to SA they won't put much effort into India match... If Pakistan beat S.A. only then Pak/India match can be intresting
SLICKR392 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Most probably' date=' Edgbaston is a flat pitch and if Pakistan lose to SA [b']they won't put much effort into India match... If Pakistan beat S.A. only then Pak/India match can be intresting Yeah right. No matter what the scenario is during an Indo-Pak game, the Pak player's nerves pop against India, especially in an ICC tournament.
ganeshran Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 OP how can you doubt it with so many phasht boilers in your side
maniac Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Pak has a good chance with a depleted S.A side and a potentially complacent india if we beat WI and qualify for the final
asterix Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Was there ever a kochan of not able to qualify with 'lethal' boilers in the team?
maniac Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Was there ever a kochan of not able to qualify with 'lethal' boilers in the team? :nervous: it's all a strategy they like to corner themselves so that they win the whole thing :two_thumbs_up:
Asim Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Ind beats SA, SA to beat WI, WI beats Pak, Pak to beat Ind... All equal Pak vs SA Ind vs WI are the Quarter-Finals...
saneindian Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Ind beats SA, SA to beat WI, WI beats Pak, Pak to beat Ind... All equal Pak vs SA Ind vs WI are the Quarter-Finals... And Imran Kahan is Pak's PM...:yay::yay:
jf1gp_1 Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Can they? yes. Will they ? unlikely. Inexperienced bowling, tired and multiple times failed batting line up. Unwilling to invest in young batsman. Even if somehow they manage to reach semis, they dont have the skill to win 4 in a row. Some pak poster will now throw set of stats and try to prove why their bowling is great and blah blah, bottom line is even if you win against India (again unlikely) we are taking steps to build a team to defend our WC title, for you sad part is not that you have a 39 yr old captain but he is your best batsman. Pak fans you want to see batting talent look at Sanju Samson and Hanuma Vihari; i dont know if they will ever play for India but that is talent and you dont put them in national side you make them grind in domestic cricket, let them play for India A so that when they wear Indian jersey they are ready. Dhawan didnt score 187 in test or 110 against SA by being gifted national cap, which is a fashion in your country.
Rob9 Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 well pakistan bowling has been the best in the tournament in my view.so they can definitely do it. But lot depends on what mentality they go into the game against south africa. South africans are also equally placed after their first loss,so that match is going to be a battle of nerves.
I6MTW Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 wait, there are quarter finals? I thought the top 2 teams of each group go directly to the semi finals?
