trundlerNO1 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Windies seem to be better :beee: not really, most of the wickets of giveaway or pathetic batting of Pakiz Just wait for India to show their worth, apart from Rampul. I am very confident of India blasting away WI.
Gunner Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Yes, all of their bowlers seem to be in good form and rhythm. They can defend below par totals on most surfaces.
cowboysfan Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 for ODIs and T20s only.I would rate the poms and saffers over them for tests.
maniac Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Pak have probably the best LOI bowling attack right now...too bad their batting sucks ***,Tests they are way behind Aus,SA and Eng
Muloghonto Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 This Paki attack would be hands down the best ODI/20-20 attack if they had Umar Gul amidst them. He is the only pace bowler today who knows how to bowl in the death- not even Steyn is impressive in the death overs. Dunno what happened to him and why the Pakis discarded him but an attack of Gul-Irfan-Junaid would be a killer pace attack.
Asim Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 comparing current 8 teams CT squads, yes probably one of the best bowling attack with one of the most poor batting lineup + definitely the worst fielding side.
Muloghonto Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 comparing current 8 teams CT squads' date=' yes probably one of the best bowling attack with one of the most poor batting lineup + definitely the worst fielding side.[/quote'] Hey, you are a Paki, right ? Do you know what happened to Umar Gul ?
Asim Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Hey' date=' you are a Paki, right ? Do you know what happened to Umar Gul ?[/quote'] ^ During Pak-SA tour he got knee injury and recently had surgery from Australia, will completely recover in 8 to 12 weeks... Umar Gul's knee surgery in Australia successful I should be fit to bowl again around mid-July: Umar Gul
asterix Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Good bowlers but one dimensional attack having 3 left arm pacers and 2 right arm offies... The pacers thrive on bowling short rising balls...
jf1gp_1 Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 whats will all this pak pleasing ? their bowling *may* have potential but thats about it. SA would have been top but with morkel and steyn out; england are the best in CT. There bowling unit is no better than ours
sekhar Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I believe rohit is our best batsman as far as short bowling is concerned He certainly has some issues against full deliveries, but against shorter ones he always has that extra bit of time. I think Irfan vs Rohit is the battle to watch
gakgupta Posted June 9, 2013 Author Posted June 9, 2013 Wasim V Irfan Waqar V Junaid Akthar V Wahab (Speed wise Akthar faster 5kph) Saqalin V Ajmal (Same both bowl doosre very well) Azhar/Razzaq V Hafeez (I Will go with Hafeez) Its funny that every tom dick and harry will be compared to legends. Wasim is probably only pak cricketer whom most of the indians like. His skill is beyond imagination. If he would have born in england. WI or AUS ..... He would have got lot more wickts
Junyfan Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Its funny that every tom dick and harry will be compared to legends. Wasim is probably only pak cricketer whom most of the indians like. velu Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 i think Hafeez is comparing bowling as unit' date='not individuals. :orderorder:[/quote'] even if we compare the bowling unit , 1999 wc pak unit >> current one :giggle:
adi B Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 pak have a good bowling line up,their spin attack makes them more lethal..but just comparing pace attacks i think windies with roach, rampaul, best, holder, saf (morne, steyn included),aus have better pace attack suited to oval type pitch
gakgupta Posted June 9, 2013 Author Posted June 9, 2013 i think Hafeez is comparing bowling as unit' date='not individuals. :orderorder:[/quote'] Yet it's not a fair comparison.....junaid is a roorkie and only good with new ball....wasim was vastly expearienced by 1999 world cup and was good with both new and old
Junyfan Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Yet it's not a fair comparison.....junaid is a roorkie and only good with new ball....wasim was vastly expearienced by 1999 world cup and was good with both new and old :agree:
sherpatenzig Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 As much as I admire their attack I still dont get it how Mr. Ajmal is legal? He is playing against the spirit of the game not Ramdin.
