I had once purchased a dozen imported Indian mangoes fpr 25-30 bucks here in NJ. It's worth it. These mexican ones taste like feet.
Did you get it from the grocery store a block or two away from Mughal Express on Oak Tree Road? That's the only place where I have seen Indian mangoes and were worth the price compared to the piece of crap Mexican mangoes are.
