I am not going all cricketics on you guys...Just saying....Didn't really care about this tourney before but now really want India to win this just to prove a point especially with No Dhoni. :isalute: Let us win this all important tournament now :ohyeah:

MCcricket Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Clearly the Indians look jaded, lacking in intensity and they have been exceptional, one thing that cannot be ignored is our weak seam attack, Ishant and the present lot need to be looked at, with Aaron coming back, selectors should look at Pankaj, Suyal, Kaul, Pandey, Kulkarni, even Shami seemed to trundle and is not bowling as well as have seen him last season.

saneindian Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Can understand likes of Kohli, Dhoni, Jaddu, Ashwin, BK and Ishant being jaded due to non stop cricket since Eng series last year, but what excuse do Rohit, DK, Vijay, Umesh have? The first three are fighting for their places, have recently comeback to the ODI side. Expected them to make these chances count but not to be. Umesh is yet to establish himself in ODIs, came back after an injury during IPL, should be doing better than what he has so far. Was disappointed with Shami as well but he at least bowled well with the new ball. Lastly Raina has made a lot of noise about regaining his test spot, shouldn't he be motivated to go out and score as many runs in these ODIs? However, he too looks disinterested. Also, if these guy are jaded, let Vinay and Mishra (and Rayudu if he reaches in time) be given their chances as well.
