It is not as if these people are exactly 'thriving' in the glorified united state. You are misinformed in many aspects about the people from your 'own' state.. Thanks for your concerns anyway

They wanted separate state, let them stay in their own state only and never move outside the state. Or let all these anti nationals move to Pakistan and live as their slaves, like they did with Nizams in the past.

Telangana people dont mind it as they are selfish and narrow minded enough to avail the benefits of development in Hyd region for themselves. It basically aims to discriminate against other people in the state. The repercussions of this decision will be felt for a long time. Hyd is good but not what seemandhra cities can't better.its main attractive areas are banajara hills, jublee hills, hitec city, gachibowli , its got a very good airport also. But that's not very difficult to better for seemandhra cities. You can make a mumbai(minus the slums) of the east coast.

The protesters on Saturday damaged the windowpanes of the gurdwara in KL Puram area in Vizianagaram town, which has been witnessing large-scale destruction of public and private property allegedly by United Andhra Pradesh supporters since October 4 in protest against the union cabinet's decision to create Telangana, police said on Sunday. An unruly mob indulged in vandalism in the town during the 48-hour Seemandhra bandh and pelted the shrine with stones, damaging its windowpanes, a senior police officer said. Police immediately intervened and rescued five persons from the religious place, the officer said. "We are in the process of identifying the persons behind the incident after going through the video footage. The Vizianagaram I Town police have registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC," the officer said. Meanwhile, National Commission for Minorities (NCM) and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbhandak Committee condemned the attack. "It is shocking to hear that the gurdwara was attacked by a mob. It is a condemnable act by miscreants who have been agitating against setting up of new Telangana state," NCM member Ajaib Singh told PTI on phone from Patiala. He urged the Andhra Pradesh DGP to provide full security to the minority communities and their religious places. Wonder whats the logic behind asking for assembly vote for state bifurcation. Its apparent that seemandhra which constitute 60% population will be against and 40% tht live in telanga region will favor bifurcation. When as much as 40% want separate state, they should be given one.

The members -- R Sambasiva Rao, Sabbam Hari, V Arun Kumar, A Saiprathap, L Rajagopal and GV Harshakumar, have written to Speaker Meira Kumar on the issue. In the letter, they sought permission to move a motion expressing no-confidence in the Union Council of Ministers under Rule 198 of the Rules of Procedures and Conduct of Business in the Lok Sabha. The plan of the MPs appears to be to embarrass the government on the Telangana issue by seeking support of those opposed to the division of Andhra Pradesh or creation of smaller states. Any move to bring a no-confidence motion requires the support of some 50 odd members, ten per cent of the membership of the House. The 15th Lok Sabha has not seen any no-confidence motion. A plan by Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress to bring it over a year back came a cropper as it failed to find the requisite support. Trinamool has 19 members in Lok Sabha. The MPs from Seemandhra, as well as those from the TDP, have been protesting the division of Andhra Pradesh in the House, with several of them moving into the Well on Monday.
