Dan Vettori has spoken about how talented he is. MCcricket Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 My two cents watching the series, though our team might not be India a maybe b side our bowling especially seamers are mediocre, Milne and Gillespie were threatening and Unmukt ,Milne duel was great, Unmukt will play for India and soon, he has the talent and temperament! Selectors should look at Suyal, Shukla and other pacy options as Basanty is a joke and our bowlers look rubbish in the first innings when they had assistance while Nz bowlers made the pitch seem like a different one and bowled with fire

vishalvirsingh Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I kinda feel Surprised when ICFER"s Feel highly about Sandeep Sharma I saw his spell of 5 overs on TV recently n yes he did swing the new Ball As much as PK did .....but this Gentle Man is 5K or 10K slower to even Praveen Kumar Wud u believe that he must be bowling at 110K.....oh Man I really wanna Pad up against this guy.....his gentle slow pace can induce Over confidence in a batsman and get him to hit a wrong Shot But believe me Guys he would be beaten black n blue by international batsman.... Dhawal srikant wagh were better than him......and for me he is definitely not among the top 15 pacers for India......I wud wanna him to prove me wrong though

vishalvirsingh Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 When it comes to Swing he is close to bhuvan and PK but he is the slowest Swing at such slow pace.....can be wicket taking When the ball is Brand new......after that he is a baby..... We had a bowler who used to bowl line n length and batsman who were facing him for first time Actually got tied by him but I used to face him at nets So I stOod 1 yard outside the crease n either I took him over pitched n never gave a chance to swing Or rocked back when he bowled short.....he did beat me with his inswing n outswing for 3 balls but the rest 3 were hit for either a 6 or a 4.......scoring a single was not required of him As I was over confident of hitting him and because I was confident I achieved success against him real Big.... I mean to say that these SLOW trundlers make average batsman Turn deadly.....once the batsman hits a couple of 4"s he gets his form and then becomes a Pain for the entire Team.....
