My Blood boils when.. My blood boils when I see some of the innings he played in the past and the way he is struggling now. My blood boils when I see the way he used to take apart the likes of Donald, Mcgrath, Akram, Warne etc. and now he is struggling against no bodies like Tanvir and Southee. My blood boils when I remember few supporters (I was one of them) used to close the TV when Sachin gets out and now we pray him to get out as soon as possible to stop embarrasing himself and his fans further. Dear Sachin - You are undoubtedly the best batsman ever to have played this game. Yes I rate you more than Bradman, Ponting, Viv or any other player and dont care what others think. But (big but) its absolutely high time for you to retire.It is not because we dont want to see you play but we dont want to see you play the way you are playing now. Even in his struggles he still looks complete package and gives me the most hope of a batsman who will come good iN South Africa if the series happen. He's still our best choice dude. Shut bussiness stuff. Even after seeing Pujara and co only one man I have the most hope from right now, and it's Tendulkar.

I could have understood if this thread was made after a test series. But after a stupid CL T20 match? Where everyone just slugs like an idiot? No obe's blood boils when Steyn struggles in each and every match. No one loses respect when Steyn gets carted by a domestic nobody. No he is still the greatest. But let Sachin fail while slogging and the whining begins. Should I put a video of how Steyn bowls in tests and how he bowls in CL? Sachin has retired from IPL and this is his last CL. Yet people do not have the decency to let that be, no that last pot shot has to be taken. He has retired from every form of cricket except tests and his test form can only be measured in tests.

^Well his test avg in India is <30 post World cup and over-all just over 30 without centuries. Getting out bowled to no bodies and even giving his wicket away to spinners like lyon..

^^ Even a blind supporter of Sachin will agree that he is struggling in test matches as well. The video I posted on the OP is for his trouble in tests. His avgs only 31 in test matches in last 2 years as opposed to his career avg of 54.

This thread has been made after India's tour of England, West indies in India, tour of Australia, England in India, Australia in India. Two years of series after test series where all we have seen is failure from Tendulkar. The comparison with Steyn is ridiculous. Everyone knows that the guy is awesome in tests and maybe above average in LOIs. The frustration is due to the horrible couple of years he's had. No one would give a feck about his performance in CL T20 if he had gone into it on the back of decent test performances.

Dont see what posting videos of Sachin batting in a charity match, under no pressure whatsoever, proves. Also, that match was 15 years ago! It means nothing in 2013. Almost every great batsmen ive seen in my 35 years has retired too late (Border, Greenidge, Viv, Steve & Mark Waugh, Ponting, Miandad, Gooch, Richardson, Dravid, Laxman to name just a few), its their own fault and they are to blame for hanging on too long, for little to no reason, its just selfish, especially when its obvious to everyone that their reflexes are gone, and they cant bat for long periods and make big runs anymore. I know you are a long time retired, but there surely comes a point where you just step aside. Wont happen in Sachin's case though, its an almighty screw up as it is, dont see it ending well, nobody has the guts to tap him on the shoulder.

I don't think this has anything to do with what happened in CLT20. Are you trying to say outside of CL he is still the same Sachin we have known for over 20 years?

If SA tour is not happening, I won't mind if Sachin takes retirement. I wanted him to take on quality bowling one last time in SA and if he had succeeded, it would have been going on high. I don't give much importance to what he has done in last two years on desi pitches or what he going to do in WI tour. Success or failures in these tours doesn't prove anything.
