too much of a mythology being developed for non subcontinantal pitches. Australian and kiwi pitches are flat. English condition are also not that bad for batsman if the ball isn't swinging. South african pitches do a little more with the new ball but south africans struggle dealing with that too. For example when Pakistan toured their hafees, azhar ali and jamshed were terrible, but so was kallis, peterson, and Smith. And they were facing a much worse bowling attack than Pakistani batsman were. So if pujara, vijay, and co are struggling to deal with seeming and swinging condition's chances are that the opposition will probably struggle to.

With the South African tour Confirmed...Can't wait for Steyn and Phialnder or even Morkel to make Chepu dance all over the pitch without having a clue of what's going on :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

Chepu is a humble and hardworking guy....that's why people like him....Rohit has natural flair and charisma the way he bats which people misunderstand for arrogance hence the hate.....If you measure natural tailunt Rohit>Daylight>Pujara

Maniac, your fixation with Rohit is all right. I can understand, but there are few players in the country who are better. Pujara looked in fine touch today in his first outing evne without any practice here in ODI'S. Even Rahane looked great. Pujara got run out otherwise he would have gone on to hit a big one here. It's time you pay some respect to him. I know it's your opinion which I might not be able to change, but things as it stands for a while, I don't know any reason why Pujara should be considered a lesser batsman than Rohit. Infact if there is a top class test batsman from India, than it's Pujara. He is a old school text book player who knows how to grind it out. Same I hope will be said for Rahane soon. I am just in awe of Rahane's ability to perform. You might be from Mumbai, but I follow Indian domestic cricket religiously and I know how many times he along with Jaffer bailed out Bombay team in tough situations. Rahane has that quality.

Rahane has done well....Credit were due.As far as you saying few are better tha Rohit....The guy has a 200 in ODI,Played some of the gritty as well as counter-attacking innings on tough pitches, scored back-to-back 100's on debut....a couple of failures and the vuyltures are out....even in the games he 'failed' in ODI's and this innings,he looked by far the most comfortable out there. He is the best player of pace bowling in India without a shadow of doubt....He was backed and he started delivering, now it's too early to put pressure back on him. He technically had 1 bad year and people started hating him.Prior to that too he had a good record in the chances he was given.....he is by far our best T20 batsman...not just IPL,internationally as well.....in ODI's he has had a turnaround....winning awards, scoring 200 etc and this is his first low score in test cricket, why is he being written off is beyond me.

This is where team management comes into picture, and make him understand his responsibility and his value too.

//Rahane has that quality./ in the morning hour today, we will see rahane's charachter, as it will be fresh day, ball is new, moving, seaming, swinging, bouncing. After tea, it is easy to score runs, as bowlers are tired.

When some namunas are too careless to adapt, their blowhards come up with words like flair to cover them. Its the runs/wickets that matter, not slow motion replays of an odd boundary/wicket.

This guy is advanced version of dravid' date=' gets runs quickly once settles in and plays so late. I dont miss dravid or tendulkar at all becoz of kohli and pujara. Shld find a laxman though![/quote'] We have one with flair minus the quality to play in testing conditions
