Till a few weeks back, same set of players were looking unbeatable in ODIs. Now to go on and win the series from here will be a good start in the positive direction.

a load of unadulterated nonsense.there is a huge difference between those two times. the form of the bowlers especially ashwin and ishant in aprticular. umesh and ishant were bowling at 135+ and we have bhuvi/vinay bowling at 125. major difference. spinners choked the opposition then. and the conditions were hostile to batsmen early in the matches vs WI,Pakistan,SL.only the SA match was a batting friendly wicket.

The ultimate trolling will be if the same 11 plays the next game, that looks like the game plan. Thats why this selection meet should have happened last evening. Could have meant a few changes. Knew it that today morning it will be back to normal, all forgotten.

I don't thinks he understands the basic difference between our batsmen and bowlers. our batting talent is of a high standard and world class. I am not sure if our pace bowlers are better than NZ. the pace bowlers are no world class talents and have to get used to being chopped. ishant does not have a short term problem.he has issues that will take months to fix..

When issues get into brain that is when one needs break and self introspection. He needed a break to do that. Whenever he gets hit, it does not look like he wants to be on the field. His runup gets even more ginger. Bowling is something in which one needs to enjoy the battle and stay relax only then one can execute whatever he wants to do in such situations. Face expressions tell everything. I had same feeling with Harbhajan and now him.

Did he even know how many wickets Vinay picked against Zimbabwe after playing 3 matches? He was wicket less on seaming tracks and its a disgrace dhoni doesn't know this. Maybe he was watching EPL matches instead of following Indian team.

This is a good principle to follow provided the initial choice is a good one. I would do it with players like Pujara, Kohli, Dhawan, Yuvraj ( LOI ), Umesh, BK, Ashwin, Jaddu ( LOI ) etc. If the initial choice is wrong, like VK, Ishant ( current ) then that mistake needs to be rectified. Further, is everyone getting the benefit of this mentality. Then, why is Umesh not in the team after decent matches in internationals / performing badly in a domestic tournament and VK and Ishh... being kept after bad performances in internationals.
