Yadav can clock 140 plus with some ease, and when really going for it near and reach 150. Shukla meanwhile is going all out at 110% and then reaches 140 at times. Cannot sustain it. Lots of bowlers can do 140 for 1 over or a few balls. Its about being able to do it at 95% and sustain over long period and spell

IF you had watched last IPL, there he was trying to bowl as quick as he could and then he did bowl in 140-145K range consistently against KKR and then he is younger than Yadav and is far from his peak. MCcricket Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Yadav, Umesh, Aaron, Suyal all can bowl fast, Unadkat averaged 125 in the last game I saw couple days back, I would have Suyal, Shukla, Anwar in my A teams based on potential, pace, ability to bowl wicket taking delivery out of no where , selectors have wasted their time on Umadkat, Narwal, Vk, S yadav.

Dont judge him on those two domestic games(not giving all in domestic game and no proper fast bowler should if already in national team), which was after long rest etc etc

He was having similar problems in Champions Trophy so he had to slow down his runup in last 2 matches and then had same issues in tri-series in WI. I am not against Yadav but I always say that even a 140-145K bowl needs to bowl like any other 130K bowler, extra pace is an x-factor, a weapon in hand, it is not a substitute for control.

Point is if you bowl 90 mph with same control as 82 mph bowler we all know which is more potent. Plus margins of error are more when fast as can get away with more. Point is he should be told bowl quick and learn to contro it when bowling quick. ps dont feel he is as wayward as you say, much better in last year already. Has decent control

Has decent control Thing is in ODIs, he tries to do too much. He also has that Sreesanth syndrome. In ODIs, he needs to bowl according to the field without trying too much. ShebbySB Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 I think he is not Regularly Super fast but some of his deliveries reach 145K So he has the Capability like Umesh N Varun to bowl super fast..... Super fast means 145K + for Indian fast bowlers.... Which can be achieved primarily by Umesh..... VaRun n Rahul can reach that mark once if they try very hard I believe Suyal is a bit slow....shukla does not Go for high energy bowling all six balls. He kinda Bowls average balls n suddenly shoots a super fast ball That becomes doubly dangerous..... 4 of the fastest bowlers in the country are Umesh,Aaron,Shukla & Suyal.Umesh is fastest followed by Aaron & Shukla.Suyal is pretty sharp & the fastest left arm seamer we've ri8 nw.He can bowl in the 138-142 kph bracket.
