Contractual dispute is with Star-Espn (rights holder)/ TV production is from BCCI & yet manjrekar talks to Sundar Raman, whose only official position is as IPL CEO .. Am I missing something??? :hmmm:

^ they are owned by the same company EspnStar.... aka Rupert Murdoch part owned which is also BCCI rights holders for India matches. You will see that ESPN-cricinfo are critical of the IPL. Reason is simple. Rights are held by Sony. If srinivasan wants to muffle ESPN cricinfo all he has to do is call Star and they will send a note to the editor at ESPN cricinfo and the rest will be history.

I think everybody apart from Murali Kartick is sort of expected. So my theory of Dravid being a commentator was off key. So this is the BCCI axing Sanjay for probably his out spoken piece or It could be they did not want too many from mumbai. Sunny and Shastri are already there. Harsha is from Hyderabad Ganguly is from the east.
