FischerTal Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 varun is gonna come back stronger. He said he is bowling his 100% after surgery and training in NCA . I think he will be more potent this time. i hope he includes more of his non-bowling hand as a part of his action this time around.
rkt.india Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 i hope he includes more of his non-bowling hand as a part of his action this time around. It was never a problem for him. His non-bowling arm was very good. You do not generate such pace with no use of non-bowling arm. He needs to make him runup a bit more fluid like Shukla and Yadav.
rkt.india Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Wow thats great news. I think SA and NZ is too early. But if does come back this month and stays fit ' date=' then maybe around next April he may be in the reckoning for India. Away tour to England could be realistic target[/quote'] He had started bowling in the nets at the end of August, as far as I know.
King Tendulkar Posted October 15, 2013 Author Posted October 15, 2013 ^ Great news Him and Yadav in tandemn is something I dream off

rkt.india Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Aarons twitter said he was in some high performance centre in Europe. Sent from my GT-I9500 using Tapatalk 2 That was in September. He recently he will be with Jharkhand team for Ranji preparation after Navratri.
King Tendulkar Posted October 15, 2013 Author Posted October 15, 2013 Yeah am sure even dhawan wants to find that out in a way and hes quietly confident about doing good as well. true that

adi B Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 I still remember when we lost Test and ODIs in England and our trundlers VK' date=' RP, Munaf were thrashed around, selectors gave debut to Yadav and Aaron in tests and ODIs to instil some pace in the team and now we are going opposite of that again. Yadav finds himself out, Aaron is not making his come back in his state team and we are again back to square with Legend and Ishant not showing any improvement and trundling with not swing or pace.[/quote'] Was thinking the same..such a shame we are playing the incompetent trundlers again and dhoni backs them like anything...what a doofus!!
coffee_rules Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 People are thinking we have benched bowlers like Lillee/Thompson to play trundlers like Ishant/Vinay. We are staring at an empty cupboard.
rkt.india Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 People are thinking we have benched bowlers like Lillee/Thompson to play trundlers like Ishant/Vinay. We are staring at an empty cupboard. That is not the thing. You cannot play proven failures time and time again. Vinay averages 73 this year in 5 matches. It is not like we do not have young pacers coming up, but I do not think selectors are serious enough to identify such guys. They may not already take world by storm but at least you need to identify guys with some potential for future. Likes of Vinay has no potential. Unadkat is again brought in who is still too young and needs time to develop. Ishant is trundling with no control whatsoever who needs to be told if he cannot bowl quick, he is out and if he is slow, he needs to swing and seam the ball like BK which he cannot, so he is useless if he has no pace.
srij Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 country like india could not find single bowler who can bowl constantly 140 + kmph nor we have Mcgrath type skillful bowler .lately yadav was bowling around 135 k/h
express bowling Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Given the fact that Johnson was bowling above 150 k and bowling well too ..... Dhawan, Kohli and Rohit actually played him quite well. Raina and Yuvraj , on the other hand, were all at sea.
express bowling Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 country like india could not find single bowler who can bowl constantly 140 + kmph nor we have Mcgrath type skillful bowler .lately yadav was bowling around 135 k/h Yadav has actually bowled 134 k to 142 k ( av. 137 k ) in his last 5 or so international games. This is about 5/6 k slower than his normal range of 137 k t 148 k. ( av. 142 k ). This maybe a perfectly natural phenomenon, no pacer is always able to bowl at the same pace. But with almost all the Indian pacers' cutting down on pace, we worry.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 IDK what Vinay Kumar and Ishant have done to be in the team. The howlers whk bowled well in Zimbabwe dont get a look in.These TTFs need to be dropped and forever.Pathetic.BCCI selection is so bloody srini and his cronies based.Penchor majak bana diya hai. Lord Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 odds heavily against Dhawan.has to keep attacking MJ. I wouldn't judge him today
Zanjeer Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 He didn't look clustered against pace like yuvi did. He has guts' date=' which is necessary to handle pace bowling. He would do well.[/quote'] look what I said....:two_thumbs_up:
King Tendulkar Posted October 16, 2013 Author Posted October 16, 2013 Facing MJ again Interesting viewing Yes cant judge him just today. But will get an idea over whole series
