even i saw that.. tbh these guys make things way to complicated they should have good basics and after that throw the ball in anyway they like which works for them our bowlers always try to swing ball other way which is not natural and then learn slower balls while stop developing stock ball..what matters is that ball swings with ur natual action but we have seen again n again people taking tips from great bowlers and forgetting what they do best now ishant is taking tips from donald :wall: first he was copying zaheer:giggle:

I knew about this even before that. These two episodes just confirmed it. BTW, I agree I do not understand why our young bowlers go to every ****ing coach rather than doing what they are doing right and giving them success.

these things you develop for urself..no one taught akram that he kept practicing and it worked for him .. its frustrating and this iso ne thing which gives me hope shami ahmed will do well in long run cos i read an article where it was written that he practiced a lot with older ball and developed reverse on his own in way it works for him (thats hwy length he bowls is so different from others ) now he did get tips from akram but he did not copy his style just tips about where to pitch and what to do which is basics..

Akram could do it because he was really strong and could bowl 135-140K with that grip with control and could swing the ball more. Irfan for 2004 Aus and Pak tour and now has huge difference.

He still took wickets with crooked grip as he still had the swing even at 125ks but now he has lost that too.He just cannot stay fit enough last i though he had gotten back to old action but he got injured.

Sanju needs to play against tougher opposition. He has hardly played any List A matches, while Raina has loads of experience. In the WC, we can afford to carry one middle-order batsman who is a bunny against the short ball, provided we utilize him well.

You can keep giving excuses , but the fact is he looks poor against quick bowlers ..his technique against short ball is as bad as Rainas , a very similar stance just that hes a right hander . Just go through yesterdays match against Pak ..even the U-19 bowlers where targeting him with short balls & he had more than half a dozen edges, top edges .miscues etc

And you can continue posting baseless opinions and statements on Samson. You have barely seen that guy bat and now you are out here judging his technique against short balls and bringing out some farce points by comparing his batting with that of Raina. You can humbly criticize his technique as much as you like, but that's after you have watched him bat for sometime.
