Lol u do not remember a thing.It was not perth spell but what he did after that got peoples hope .He bowled quickest in cbseries that followed and even in adelaide test he bowled very well and fast.He was injured the next series against SA and india was hammered then when he came back on a dustbowl he was the best fast bowler on a turning track and got kallis with a peach.After that When india came To aus he was MOS .He bowled the best any indian fast bowler has bowled in a series in India on dead tracks.Also before the aus series he went to lanka and in one of the best spells of fats bowling he has jaya and sanga in taters .After that he went downhill coaches in ipl and his idiotic thinking of trying to copy zak destroyed him.H tried to develop a out swinger which lead to many changes of actions ,finally he worked with eric simmmons and got his pace back and wrist position was still a problem in the wi tour and even in eng he has spells and in aux he was quick .Then the new coach and new thinking.He just needs to watch his videos form 2007-2009 and get things right.

No I did not forget that series against Aussies where he was MOS but you have to see there also other than he never had any five wickets hauls, he was very good in that series but the problem with him he has not progressed even a bit. I was his biggest fan and supporter even when he go thru lean trot but what is most worrying aspect of him is, he is literally scared of pressure situations, those guys are thinking so much about failing that they fail to execute. He never was going to run thru the side even on his good day due to lack of outswinger, even in WI when he got some wickets those players were absolute hacks as proven by them not being in the side anymore. Personally I think ship has sailed for him to become a viable bowler.

The reason he tinkered with his bowling in first place was he was beating the bat a lot but not getting enough wickets. Inswing bowlers are never going to be as successful as outswing bowlers.That is why I don't see Bhuvi also becoming a genuine wicket taker. The only guy I can remember who did well without having a genuine outswinger was Imran Khan but he was more pacy and with reverse swing his inswinger became outswinger.Till he mastered reverse swing Imran was also very average.

If Ishant could be MOS with not much stock outswing in India, he could have done wonders abroad with same approach.
