coffee_rules Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 What's BCCI's beef with Lorgat? They are treating him like the evil second wife in many Saas-Bahu serials.
Gunner Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 We should play 3-4 Tests along with practice matches and scrap the ODIs for now. They can be played sometime later like what Australia are doing now.
G_B_ Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 India likely to play three Tests against South Africa From the moment Cricket South Africa (CSA) appointed Haroon Lorgat as its CEO, relations between the BCCI and the CSA have taken an ugly turn. While CSA had initially claimed that despite BCCI's concern regarding Lorgat's appointment, the South African board had done the best in cricket's interest, it is now believed that the same CSA has decided to keep Lorgat away from all matters relating to the BCCI and Indian cricket. Desperate to get India's tour of South Africa in December back on track, CSA president Chris Nenzani held meetings with BCCI president N. Srinivasan in India on October 12 to ensure that the tour isn't called off. The tension seems to have eased out now. If sources are to be believed, India could play three Test matches instead of the revised plan of the BCCI wherein it had decided that India will not play more than two Tests and three ODIs in South Africa. Speaking to Mail Today, a senior BCCI official said: 'We have always had very warm relationship with CSA and we believe in maintaining them. But it is also true that with Lorgat as CSA's CEO, things became a lot more difficult for us. 'There are differences of opinions, but it is not that we have asked them to send him (Lorgat) on a holiday or something. We are more bothered about Indian cricket. But it could well be in the best interest of both parties that he stays away from handling issues related to Indian cricket.' The official refused to accept that the BCCI was waiting for CSA to keep Lorgat away before giving its nod for two Tests and three ODIs. Laaloo Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 so a 3-0 asswhooping is on the cards I would have liked only 2 tests with this POS team

saneindian Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Dhoni also might retire from tests along with Sachin at Wankhede now lol

jusarrived Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 I dont get the despair' date='SA are not unbeatable even at home.We just need to solidify our bowling.[/quote'] Infact at home they are even more suspect . If we dont screw up like tast tour , we can win this . Kallis really hurt us on last 2 tours bailing them out from losing situations , hopefully we get 3rd time lucky . The rest of the batting can be taken care of if we pick the right attack .
G_B_ Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 speaking of kallis. He really looked out of sorts against Pakistan. Even fitness wise you got a feeling that he was bowling for the sake of it. Not sure he is going to bowl much more in the future. 4 overs of IPL fair enough. Not much in test cricket.
SLICKR392 Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 3-0 baby :yess: Another failure for the man of steel coming up :hatsoff: Pishant sharma will be lucky to get philander or morkel's wicket so that his supporters continue to fap on why he is needed in Indian team Good thing tendu retired before this upcoming embarrassment :nice: Man Of Steel + Nerves of Steel. Gun duo! :yess:

SLICKR392 Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 There isn't any reason to be happy about Kallis's form. Even Punter looked clueless before he toyed our bowlers.

His average is below 56 but our bowlers will put it back above 56 in December
FischerTal Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Man Of Steel + Nerves of Steel. Gun duo! :yess: In most countries, these two would never get in the test team, forget playing the amount of tests they have already played.
