cowboysfan Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 windies were in trouble too and some good hitting and slogging got them a big score,it seems the slowness of the wickets have made batting very difficult against the spinners.
vvvslaxman Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Indian batting form is poor. Being capable is one thing thing, being up for it another thing. In current form we are not up for chasing bigger totals. We just rely on one or two individuals. I remember India chasing 180 odd against NZ in 2007 world T20. We were like 75/0 in 7 overs. Then Vettori put the squeeze on we just imploded. That is the problem with chasing bigger totals. Good start is not enough you have to maintain it.
undisputed chap Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 IIn a prematch show players were asked who their fav bollywood actress was. Some said preity. Warner said katrina kaif. This chewtiya clone said he liked anushka sharma:whack::whack:
undisputed chap Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Bad news for Pakistan This is bad news for pakistan. During commentary in pak vs wi shane warne in comm box said ajmal is clever bowler & loves his long sleeves. We all know how much he troubled eng by going on & on by criticizing their strategies & approach to the game so much so thar it started affecting alistar cook. As aus take on pak in uae he will take this up & talk about it as much as he can. Ajmal & misbah need to be careful that he doesn't get in their heads.
vvvslaxman Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Taming ABDV This probably is going to be the singular discussion among Indian think tank. He has two problems One is choking tendency. Other one is fast leg breaks. Had issues with Afridi. I think we might have to hold Mishra overs . Not like he can't hit Mishra. He can absolutely murder him on his day. But we have to weigh in the options.
coffee_rules Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 India wouldn't play the same way if they were chasing a bigger score. They play according to the target. They played safe in those 3 chases because the asking rate didn't require them to take risks. They took the right approach in those 3 games IMO. yeah, chasing 132 they didn't have to take any risks. We don't have any proof in current form they can chase big targets. We couldn't chase 153 against SL in the practice game. Batting is still a worry.
coffee_rules Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 XsAROIEcjcc Look at how Watson is sledging Ajmal calling out his action at 1:05.
vijay50 Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 So that people like Rohit can play good test match innings.:giggle:

thongale Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 SL have hard road ahead after Sanga and LION ONLY IN HIS DEN JAYA RETIRE' date=' I DONT SEE MUCH TALENT AS THEY HAD EARLIER WITH , Ranatunga, Mahanama, Tillakratne, De silva, Vaas and that was their best team.[/quote']This is what the pundits said when Gurusinghe, Aravinda, Arjuna, Mahanama and Hashan retired. The same thing was said when Jayasuriya, Vaas and Murali retired. Despite we keep appearing in semi finals and finals. Samaraweera is already gone, and Dilshan, Sanga, Mahela will follow them soon. But there will be steady supply of replacements. Mathews, Chandimal, Thirimanne, Priyanjan, Chathuranga de Silva, Kaushal Silva are few of them.
moniker Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Rather keep wickets in hand till the 10th over and then accelerate and try to finish the match by the 17th over than be slow and steady throughout like IND and take it to the last over or implode like ENG/AUS/NZ/PAK. Thank you.
sscomp32 Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 LOLLL seriously not sure if youre trolling. :hysterical: Link? NO Joking. I saw that too. :cantstop: Even the pre match presenters were comparing fakekohli with original. :haha:
Old guy Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Is he used to track at mirpur? It's one thing to attack England on flat track and totally different to attack like that with bowl spinning
