Kohli has huge forearms bigger than Dhoni's or Yuvraj singh's. That is where he generates lot of power. His whips are effective because of his forearms. He can impart so much power even with short backlift.

was going to make the same point we have had a T20 WC in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012 and now in 2014 with only 1 50 over WC in between

Had seen him bat twice against MI BACK in 2010 and 2012 and against Victoria Bushrangers 2009 during the CL T20 game where the pitch was horrible.

Why does he need a new technique....Since we are talking about T20's...Rahane has had a fairly succesful stint playing the way he is atleast in IPL....why change that...Not that T20I is a bigger deal than IPLanyways

I think what we can take away from this is that rahane is willing to try and work hard on this game. Its worked in the test arena. Loving this hard working nature. Rahane needs to add the arial shots to his game. Somebody like mahela is whom rahane should model his t20 game on
