What will your answer be 1. When you are served stale or inferior food, would you say nothing about it? Often the case with me, I personally don't make a big deal about it. I just eat it and let it go. I guess lot of people are like that. But plenty of people go haywire and create a big deal in public. To be honest, there is nothing right or wrong in this, if you are keeping quite, you are not letting the company know that they need to improve on their quality of food served. And if you voice your opinion, you might be considered one of those who is over reacting to the one-of instance. What do you guys usually do and how would you answer it if it was asked you at a job interview.

If I am eating in a restaurant, I always make it a point to call someone and talk about it. In most cases they replace the food. In some cases, especially if the restaurant is a cheap one, they would defend their food. But if I am paying for it, I want it right. But I usually keep it quiet. I don't like other customers to hear that I am not happy with the food. It usually causes people to doubt even their own food. If I am eating in someone's home, I let it go, unless of course it's really uneatable.

I don't know what restaurants you eat at but it's not very hard to convey your inconvenience. I would call the server and softly tell them that the food is not up to my expectations. They always either not charge for it or replace it with something that would meet the expectations. This is a very common and happens all the time. I would not shout and make a HUGE deal about it. In fact, if you have to do any of that it's not worth visiting that restaurant again. One time, I was eating at this burger joint and the burgers had chips of a broken or worn out spatula. I asked the server to get a manager. After calmly explaining the situation, the manager made us all the food to go on the house plus gave us a $50 giftcard. This is a restaurant you want to go to b/c you know that they strive for excellence and care for the customers. The one off - mistake is not a big deal in this case if the food/service otherwise is excellent.

As some others have suggested, I would quietly, softly and RESPECTFULLY REQUEST the servers to take it back and try again. Regardless of where you are, never make a huge fuss, be arrogant or shout in a restaurant, unless you don't plan on coming back. Make them your friends, even when they've made an error. You don't want to know what they can- and often do- with your food if you pi$$ them off. This, boys and girls, is not an urban myth.

As long as I am paying for it, I'll surely let the waiter/staff know about it but, without making a big deal about it in the public. Although, I would walk away from the place without a second invitation, i.e. wouldn't wait around for them to replace it.

Answer it the way you would in real life. Honesty brings out the best in you. If I am offered inferior food, I wouldn't go to the restaurant again. If the food was stale, I would complain ofc and may not revisit depending on how they react to my feedback.

tbh I ll answer wat I m really gonna do. I would ask them to take it back and leave the restaurant and never come back. if they ask me to pay the bill even after this, I would pay. I will earn the loss later on. did this a couple of times.

Make the waiter eat it. I've actually done that once in a Sushi place regarding their so called "rice yogurt dessert".
Why the waiter? Asking the chef to have a bite of his own creation is understandable.

The chef usually has a very sharp knife :cantstop:
