Virat ahead while chasing, Dhoni ahead while setting as he can dig deep and put up a decent total from any hopeless position. Dhoni is a good chaser too. But not getting enough chances these days :)

Both are very good, and we have to keep in mind MSD's contribution as a wicket keeper too (even though here we are only talking batting). And positions are different - top order bat versus wicketkeeper + lower middle batsman.

both are the best odi players in the world consistently for 3 years..both are mentally and physically far more tougher than their compatriots ..both are dependable but have different roles..cant compare them,they are too good in odis
