Could be good to first find the talent and then hone it. I understand a lot of people slip through the net of domestic selection process.

I hope Sachin or some organization can sponsor talented bowlers or else all we will see is fat kids being put to this academy by rich parents as average Indian might find it hard to pay for it, I would love to see an expert like Pont being called in as a consultant and mentor for bowling talent in India where he can look at bowlers and groom raw talent.

I still remember a few guys like Abhishek Jagan from Banaglore who was clocked quickest from Bangalore in Scorpio fast bowler's hunt contest and Munish Ansari from MP who impressed Greg Chappel and was called to play a warmup one day match for CCI against England and took the wicket of Flintoff in 2006. Guys like these are nowhere to be seen now.

That isn't shameless. It is commonplace on twitter to do things like this. That is how you properly use it to get the word out about something? How else raise awareness?

Guys, I know Ian Pont more than any of you in here. He'll be in this forum soon...dont worry! he'll advertise the fact that he built Dale Steyn all the time! but good luck to him for this academy! ps: dont say anything to him if he says some annoying ****! if you do, he'll quit this academy :p
