When the ball is coming in u do not just plant your front foot it will just be plumb l.b.w.Initially ur feet do not move as well also and rohit is diff type of player .
Moving and planting feet are two different things And I agree initially only rohit does that and after that gets better that's why I said that he will do much better in tests in lower order than Odis as opener in such conditions

maybe we should drop him down the order in ODIs too in such conditions:hmmm: Pujara can come in as opener:hmmm:

Dhawan, Vijay, Rohit, Dhoni, Ashwin, Ishant, Zaheer sabko nikal do. Only Pujara, Kohli, Rahane and Shami deserve to retain their spots Can we get some fresh legs playing Ranji right now to fly down to SA before the Durban test?

Pujara should be in team regardless Would bat him at 3 and Kohli at 4 like we did during sehwag gauti days In Australia rohit will do fine while opening he just struggles in South Africa where you get lots of swing and pace at start

thats what I said in other threads too :five: about Rohit, ball swings at pace in Australia too except in pattas like Hobart.I think he'll do better in MO.Next tour is NZ so we can try that

In Odis pitches are much easier And his technique is suited for those tracks even in these test matches ball has swung only a little

Its not such a bad idea for the next match I think. Replace him with Jadeja, and push Rahane one spot up, followed by Jadeja. That way we'll have a fifth bowling option also. If only in order to avoid the possibility of Dhoni or Kohli bowling.

I think rohit should go to 6, that's where he scored his hundreds. Rahane at 5. Or maybe it doesnt matter. But i'd rather have rohit than say raina/yuvi. Rohit can produce a good innings, lets give him some games.

Rohit is more likely to do well with tail as he can explode if necessary.

:sniffle: loving the overwhelming support
Our support is different from your support. You support him because his grandpas brothers wife's brother in law is from Andhra :cantstop:

I'm in, only because I want 5 bowlers for the next game with a do or die approach. Lets try and show the #1 team something called the knockout punch in their own ring.
