Is India's tail the worst in the world?

In the first Test, the scores of the last 3 batsmen were: First innings: No. 9 : 0 No. 10: 0 No. 11: 0 Now, here in the second Test, No.8: 0 No.9: 0 No.10: 4 No.11: ? They don't even last long. They just don't seem to apply themselves. When Duncan Fletcher was coach of England, he had made it his priority to get tail-end batsmen to apply themselves and if they can't score runs, at least hang on from one end. What the heck is he doing now?

well, it's a little better but not that great either. 29*, 4, 4. Zaheer slogged a few, but 10 and 11 were the same. Contrast that with Philander for SA who scored runs in both innings.

Yeah let's not blame the bowlers for not keeping out Steyn and co. The captain/world's richest cricketer/legend is the real problem here. Dhoni made his international debut nearly a decade ago, but in that time that guy's technique outside Asia in Tests has not improved at all, which is absolutely pathetic though not surprising from a guy who claims ODI cricket is the premier format of the game. When you have a walking wicket at no.7 that places far too much pressure on the bowlers.

After ten years of playing Dhoni has not learnt one bit in constructing an innings under these conditions. A tail that begins at number seven must surely be one of the worst for these conditions.
