maniac Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 My Mom was watching this game-show on a regional channel and there was this yester-year actress who was a guest on it...apparently this lady is now a politican and member of a very significant politicical party. It is real sad to see what kind of Dummys enter politics.i mean just watching this person speak makes me lose a few brain cells. Now I haven't even heard of this actress till my mom told me she did act in a few succesful movies back in the day.Forget the big names,I see a lot of smal-time supporting actors and comedians being affiliated with politics.....It is sad that these guys get a ticket ahead of atleast some semi-decent candidates Doesn't mean that actors/actresses with a biger name-value are succesful either....We all know about the Govinda debacle.....Amitabh Bacchan almost destroyed his career,infact will never be able to regain the value he had pre-politics days.....Chiranjeevi is a walking joke now. N.T.Ramarao and M.G.R both superstars of their respective regions have had succesful careers in politics...can't comment about M.G.R but N.T.R was more famous for his buffonery and Filmi Speeches(much Like AAP :winky:) anyways can't deny the impact he had on Indian politics so lets leave it at that. Amma Jaya despite being corrupt is probably one of the half-decent politicans with a filmi background,Atleast she doesn't come across as a dummy when she talks.....Shatrughan Sinha seems alright but obviously he is on the sidelines too. Anyways are there any Filmi guys who seem to be worthy of the free passes they get from political parties just because of their name value?

And how does the sasikala family(Thanjavur group) so wealthy now? They certainly weren't during her first term. Just beciz there are no new cases doesn't mean she isn't corrupt And the 10 times better Jaya lost 40-0 in look sabha when she ruled not to forget . and that was her 2nd term as well
