We had our most success when our guys were having a go at opposition players - Remember Zak/KP Jelly bean incident' date= Gambhir-Watson confrontation, Bhajji/Symonds/Haydos spat, Yuvraj/Flintoff tiff.. do you think result would have been any different if there were no sledging by our guys ? i dont. anyway even after sledging if you lose ur game its totally different thng ..the examples you gave in all of them the cricketers instead of slogging played with even more concentration than before zaheer for example was fired up but he did not started bowling quicker and bowling full balls or bouncer after bouncer to show aggression he sticked to his strength yuvraj was playing in t20 but yeah i agree he fired up but he is different sort of guy gambhir one i dont remember match tbh so cant comment and bhajji too sticked to what he did what rohit did was more closer to sreesanth who starts bowing tripe after getting angry:cantstop:

Old guy Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 yeah started playing shots when we needed him to stay.exactly what SA wanted that made me so mad i knew thati n 4-5 overs he will be gone and we will witness a big collapse and lsoe by inning but rahane played a gem and tbh it made it worst for me cos now i am sure we could have saved the match!

Behaving as if you heard nothing and venting out the whole wrath in batting is the epicest thing which only outstanding batsmen like Sachin or Dravid were able to do. Since Kohli, Pujara and Rahane know that they can answer the sledging with their bat, they did the smiling (Still staying reactionless is the hardest thing). Rohit knows he can't answer with his bat so thought of countering Steyn which is very chicken-ish.

He grew up and became good friends with Bihar and up players like dhoni, raina and Praveen and then mns started racism against them, again motivated rohit to b cum the most talented youngster in india. now with steyn showing rohit this bias, he may just b cum the most talented cricketer in the world :)
