I dont think India have a sort of wicketkeeper batsman who keeps well and is technically sound. Aditya Tare of mumbai is a good bat but again question marks over keeping. Saha is probably the only one who keeps well and is a decent bat. Cant think of many more in the domestic scene who have played more than 20 ranji matches average more than 40 with the bat and keep well. Smit Patel is one player (under 19 WC winner) who probably might be one for the future.

Just like Michael Clarke opted out of team selection. He is still the captain on the field. Dhoni should be stripped of the right to select the playing XI. The coach and selectors should make these decisions. The captain should merely lead the team on the field.

This is strange logic...no Kohli won't feel bad same way if Kohli is captain pujara will respect it..it's natural that one guy leads out of 11 Also none of them had this problem ever..ego clashes happened with seniors who actually thought they are beyond captain not cos they wanted to be one and we have always had this problem.. When dhoni was made captain wasn't you raj more senior ? And more experienced ?

He'll realize it that he is not upto it and just wasting a spot. By the end of that tour Dhoni will see Kohli as a capable candidate to lead.. Then, he'll focus on WC15...
