Hen has dhoni whined about pitches Away from home ? I have never seen him complain about green track infact he only demands tracks which get results at home
He has not complained about tracks but he has whined how these tracks are alien to his players and how they don't play bouncers well. If he good enough player he should play everywhere and STFU so should his team, they cant be giving these nonsensical excuses when playing against a side like NZ. And he has thrown fits when he did not raging turners when playing at home and whined about it is that not enough whining. They should be ashamed of their performances so far.

Every team does that. Clarke did in India and so did Cook. Even Strauss was whining about it after their loss to SL in the 1st Test back in 2012. It only becomes an issue when our players and team talk about it.

Just because someone whined you don't have do the same thing.Indian team being no1 side when series started playing against no 8 side should not even talk of this nonsense. I could understand these talks when playing against bowlers like Steyn and co but common playing against trundlers like southie and Anderson if you are talking about bounce and alien conditions then you as captain of no1 side should be ashamed. You may lose to any team it is a sport it happens, but not this whining against an inferior side.

Mr Sandeep Patil............. It is high time the Indian selectors and team management thing ahead and chart a map how we can be a powerful force away and at home, the muddled approach and selections backed by poor thinking from captain and Fletcher is hurting the team performances. India is a huge country and we have 20 plus teams to choose players from so a huge pool, the cricket calendar has gotten more and more busier each year also player fitness and choosing right players for the right format along with team selections is the biggest issue here. We need to have three teams for three formats and there is no way around it, also we need the right personnel to captain each side, also players chosen for the right format per records and game. Let us have a new captain in T20 AND INTRODUCE YOUNG PLAYERS WHO MIGHT NOT BE THAT EXPERIENCED BUT HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO SUCCEED AT THIS LEVEL, lets select players like Shukla, Suyal, who are fast bowlers with pace and have potential to represent India in other formats and a good testing ground in T20 as they have decent stats and are experienced at the T20 format owing to IPL. THE SQUAD COULD BE picked up from this pool based on form Rohit capt Virat vc Dhawan Jadhav Samson Rahane Dhoni as t20 WC is not too far away Unmukt Yuvi as he is very good at this format and can bowl also Pandey Aggarwal Suyal Shukla Shami BK R Dhawan R Sharma S Nadeem Rasool India needs to get the right players in ODI as they are backing the wrong players especially for this format Dhoni Capt looking at the WC Virat VC Dhawan Rohit Pujara is a must in ODI Rahane am not convinced of his ODI GAME ALSO HIS DOMESTIC ODI RECORD IS POOR Jadhav has a fantastic odi record and seem versatile Gambhir Rayudu Ashwin Jadeja Chawla Rasool I Pathan when fit R Dhawan Shami Aaron BK Suyal being a fast bowler and a left armer to boot and having one of the best records in domestic cricket to boot For test cricket we need to find good bowlers who are relatively experienced and have the pace and maturity to bowl and be effective in the longer format and our batting seems good Virat Capt Dhawan Rohit Vijay Gambhir Sehwag if in form he is a match winner Pujara Rahane Rayudu Jadhav if he seems capable in the shorter format as a team needs to constantly evolve and look for talent which Dhoni doesn't understand Dhoni Samson Ashwin Jadeja Rasool Pathan as he is a all rounder and way better then the jokers like VK, Mithun, Unadkunt, Zak in present form Umesh BK Pankaj I Pandey Aaron based on fitness Shami We have to select horses for courses and different players captains for every format, players will be fresh, we will have a larger pool also different ideas, and if each format has a pool of players then selectors can select accordingly and prioritize the right players when playing away from home. What is keeping us from being a world class unit at home and away , in test's inability of bowlers to take 20 wickets and the culprit here is the selectors, captain for selecting Ishant, Zak who is way past, and spinners on a track favoring seamers, we need to pick up bowlers who atleast have the minimum pace required to be effective in tests that is 135 k and above, a rookie fast bowler is better then a experienced trundle look at examples, Milne, Shami and you will see in test one should have raw pace or sufficient pace with skills, Aaron, Umesh, Pandey, Suyal, Pankaj, Shami have to come in . In ODI the same thing bowlers being in effective and giving away a lot of runs, main culprit here is Ishant again and he keeps on getting selected thnx to Dhoni and more to Mr Patil and co, one needs bowlers who have a plan and can execute it also ability to bowl good Yorkers and short ones along with capability to bowl at any time during the innings with success, BK has a problem there but it is more to do with Dhoni's mind set, Aaron has the ability to be a good ODI bowler, Shami has skills with pace, Suyal could be a good addition as he has pace and a very good domestic record and can bowl good Yorkers and bouncers along with the troubling length for the left armer, R Dhawan deserves a look in owing to his performances and when fit Irfan should walk in in the odi and test side owing to his versatility.

I agree' date=' bowlers are holding us back. I like the new crop and hope they succeed in every way. And yeah, why not groom new players for t20 squad? We don't take Int T20s seriously anyway since we played zero in 2013[/quote'] That is the frustrating side we are having problems away from home not because of talent or skills but thought process, selections and captaincy, bowling in ODI AND TEST IS WEAK and we have options but not looking at them also T20 BEING IGNORED AND THIS COULD BE A GOOD AVENUE TO LOOK AT THE YOUNGER LOT.
