Shami has been great in that, and Bhuvneshwar with him would have just made it better. Zaheer and Ishant, albeit with most wickets in this game so far for India, have gone for plenty of runs at a very poor economy rate. Bhuvneshwar is a must. For people who don't understand Hindi, Dimaagi means Brainy. Bhuvneshwar is like Rahul Dravid of Indian bowling. He can keep things calm even when team is going in trouble as usual.

sylon Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 why don't Indian spinners turn the ball? Just saw Ish Sodhi's first over and he was turning his leg breaks sharply. Since I think Bhajji I haven't seen a single Indian spinner actually turn the ball properly. Jadeja does it OK sometimes and Ashwin almost never turns. Are they all trying to emulate Anil Kumble or do they lack the technique to turn the delivery? or is it bad coaching. Guys like Ashwin I know they all turn the "odd" delivery but most of their balls barely turn or just go straight. That is why he is so toothless outside the sub continent where the bounce is consistent, you need turn.
