Too many other powerful forces at work The only thing Fletcher loves is collecting fat pay cheques for doing absolutely nothing. He was finished years ago in Eng who rightly got rid off him. The Ind coaching position may be powerless but Fletcher has achieved nothing of any substance in his time as coach - his only legacy will be acting as the doorman outside Dhoni's hotel bedroom as he gets serviced by that Retard Sharma.

We aren't the only team with troubles but its sad to see us lose 0-2 when we could have won both ODIs. Attacking openers: We need an anchor and i thought rohit was that guy. He takes too long though and can't adapt to the situation. Dhawan should be persisted with as he worked hard and has scored runs. Look at david warner in early 2013, he was out for many ducks and single digits, yet Aus sent him on an A-tour brought him back and he scored runs in both ashes series. Options: Pujara/rahane. I always saw rohit as an opener but he needs to step up. 7 Batters: Feels like our batting ends with dhoni. Dhawan, Opener/rohit, kohli, rahane, rayudu, dhoni SHOULD BE THE LINEUP. There is much solidity there. Then number 7 is debatable. Had jadeja won the match for us, it would give hope. We need to consider a seam all rounder ASAP. Try binny, who cares just get someone there so we can start the process of arranging for that slot. If binny fails in some series, try rishi or get irfan to do the zak fitness challenge lol. At the end of the day, we need QUALITY BOWLERS who will give batting team a low total to chase. Shami, bhuvi, aaron, pandey should be played. Its dhoni's selection that has also failed this team.

He is no sehwag or tendulkar.

ShebbySB Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Aaron for Ishant,Binny for Ashwin....So it's Rohit,Dhawan,Kohli,Rahane,Dhoni,Raina, Binny,Jadeja,BK,Aaron,Shami.I'll play Rohit as he'll play the 2 tests so give him as much as batting time u can.Raina won't be dropped in Dhoni's captaincy we've to digest that.Binny for Aaron coz he'll be as bad as Ashwin & will be a better option with the bat.Though this is my ODI team in the near future:-Dhawan,Pujara,Kohli, Rahane,Kedar,Dhoni,Rishi/Rasool(based on conditions),Jadeja,BK,Aaron,Shami. Reserves will be Rohit,Rayudu & 1 among Pandey/Dhawal/Rahul Shukla.
