sscomp32 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Brilliant work man. :hatsoff: :two_thumbs_up: Thanks. Planning to do test centuries and half centuries too.
SLICKR392 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Great effort. Was searching for that ton in England where Dravid and Kohli build a good stand.
Lord Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 :two_thumbs_up: Thanks. Planning to do test centuries and half centuries too. :nice:
ExpressPace Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Plays spin and swing better than ponting imo. Lets not get carried away. The era ponting played in was the era of great fast bowlers plus he didnt score 10 centuries against srilanka. Kholi is still a great prospect and will def be a great one day but lets not compare him to Lara, Sachin , Ponting and others.
Number Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Kohli against Bennett. After a long time I saw Kohli struggling against a bowler like this in ODIs. (In Pakistan-India ODI seires he was out of form from England series and pitches didn't help much) He was bowling back of a length around off stump constantly and they definitely had a plan against him. It bit of reminded me how Sachin used be targeted by McGrath. This is going to be interesting. Lets see how Virat handles it.

It is not his fault if he treated likes of Malinga, Mendis like club bowlers and played Murli (before retirement) very well.

Bennett had a simple strategy to bowl outside off stump and stretch him out of his comfort zone which resulted in him stuck against Bennett. He left a few, tried to play a few got some inside edges and then sucked in chasing a widish delivery that he could easily have left.

Lord Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 They did but not every other week. how does that matter?

ExpressPace Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 how does that matter? 18 centuries in no time, credit goes to srilankans for helping him score most of them :hatsoff:
Old guy Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 18 centuries in no time' date=' credit goes to srilankans for helping him score most of them :hatsoff:[/quote'] same team which u could not beat ?

He probably did not want take risk.

vvvslaxman Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 If ____________ fails India wins . Fill ip the dash lol hope this does not become another one of those

TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Kohli definitely looked tentative today. Haven't seen him like that in a long time. Hope this was just a one-off thing or India is screwed.

He left a few' date=' tried to play a few got some inside edges and then sucked in chasing a widish delivery that he could easily have left.[/quote'] Kohli is very strong through legside and also drives well through off side .So it was a good plan to bowl short of good length and outside off as pitch had bounce and pace,He is not exactly the best cutter with his initial front foot trigger movement,so it was a ploy which nz will try in future matches.
