Midfielder Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 I think handled professionally India can win it all. Correct team selection and they will do it.
skindia Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 India will beat only pak and lose all remaining games
Temujin Khaghan Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 take out Zim and BD Hafeez isn't even a tailender. he was opener coz you had no better ouch :cantstop:
Iconoclast Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 take out Zim and BD Hafeez isn't even a tailender. he was opener coz you had no better You forgot to include India :giggle: ouch :cantstop:
Iconoclast Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 I reckon Hafeez is the most economical bowler across all three formats combined. Plus he takes important top order wickets with the new ball. Any batting we get from him is a surplus .. with that being said he's played more than a few match winning innings .. has Jaddu done that ?
GautiMaan Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 ^ A couple of match winning and one match tieing innings
Sir john Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Ravindra Jadeja has opened up about the title, Sir, that people have given him. He told FHM India magazine that someone started it on Twitter during the last IPL and people picked it up. The 25-year-old all rounder said that as long as it's funny, he didn't mind. He also said that he didn't follow too many people, so he had no clue who's saying what. Jadeja said that people mention him, but he didn't take them too seriously.
putrevus Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Take out Jadeja home games and then it is not even a comparison. Jadeja is more like Sohail Tanvir who is useful in slogging overs. Hafeez was opener in all formats away from home. Take out home games for Imran khan then his stats take a almighty hit ,so that is very unfair on your part. Jadeja is better bowler but Hafeez is a better bat but jadeja has time on his side to improve himself. On helpful conditions jadeja the bowler can be dominant any team but the same cannot said hafeez he cannot dominate all teams even on helpful conditions either with with bat or ball.
Pagalpanti Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Hafeez record vs top 8 - Bat avg 27 (largely due to SL bashing, without them the average further drops to 23 :cantstop:) Bowling average vs top 8 - 39
Asim Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Should carefully utilize Gul... He is more important for Pak WT20 than Asia cup...
putrevus Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 World t20 is crap in my view and has lost all the cache of world cup , how can you have fifth world T-20 in just six years.
Asim Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 ^ After this one I think it will be held after 4 years...
putrevus Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 ^^^ Then we will talk about its importance, see WI are having such hard to find players to stay healthy how is it fair for them to compete.
adi B Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Just a feeling - Pakistan is going to win this (of course without beating India) pak have always won the asia cup in bdesh but this time i am very confident that india will win this especially with a new, hungry captain and pishant out
Mahaa Raavana Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 1) Vs. Bangladesh (26th Feb) : Heavy loss 2) Vs. Sri Lanka (28th Feb) : Heavy loss 3) Vs. Pakistan (2nd Mar) :Heavy loss 4) Vs. Afghanistan (5th Mar) : Narrow Loss At the end of the series, captain Kholi will get a 10 match ban for slapping Asswin & Boovi for bowling typical crap, fake Sir will take an indefinite break from cricket due to a stress related illness & most importantly SL will replace the minnows who are currently holding on to no.02 ODI ranking ... B->
G_B_ Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 remind me didnt SL actualy lose all matches in the last asia cup :hysterical:
Gollum Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 I hope India lose Asia Cup but win T20 WC. (Law of averages). If we win Asia Cup 100% guarantee we will bow out from T20.
vvvslaxman Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 This is the last match India played without one of Dhoni/Raina/Yuvraj http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/65650.html wow for almost 10 years we either had Dhoni or/and Yuvi or/and Raina. Our solid middle to lower order batsmen. Rohan Gavaskar 54 whoa.
